So, we have the 8th best 'points for' in the AP and the 3rd best 'points against' and we are languishing in 9th position.
Strange year, really. The old mantra of 'defence wins games' seems anachronistic.
The new rules seem to put the emphasis on keeping the ball and punching holes.
Do we have the personnel for this?

A more pertinent point is close to 50% of all trys in the AP have started from a lineout. Needs to be fixed fast!

Agreed; it wasn't that long ago (with Matt O'Connor as head coach, funnily enough) that we were the top team in the league for tries scored off first phase.
