Is there anyone likely to be available who is better than what we have and if so what'll it cost and can it be afforded!
Is Marchant nailed down at Quins, wishful thinking!
Also we have Gareth Owen as mentioned by someone else and who I had nearly forgotten to be honest, maybe he could step in.

Can Malouf play 13? His one up tackling is very good and he will find his positioning much easier with Toomua next to him.

Interestingly, Express estimates it at 12 weeks, and the minimum injury length for use of the £400k salary cap injured player dispensation is... 12 weeks.

Has to be someone decent available in the Southern Hemisphere at this time of year!

Good shout, you never know, certainly better prepared for it than before!

Nick joined the Australian Sevens in 2012 and started his season strongly, helping development side the Aussie Thunderbolts to a win at the Noosa International Sevens. Originally a flanker with the University of Queensland, Malouf worked hard to develop into a fleet-footed centre with the aim of making his international Sevens debut. Nick has played in every round of the last two seasons on the World Rugby Sevens Series circuit and is arguably the most-underrated forward in the game.[2][3]

Malouf competed at the 2016 Summer Olympics.[4]

On 30 June 2017, Malouf signed a professional contract with English club Leicester Tigers to compete in the Aviva Premiership ahead of the 2017-18 season.[5]

Can't help but feel that if manu's injuries persist then O'Connor will have no choice but to axe him.if Worcester do end up near the bottom or indeed bottom of the table then Ben Teo would be an ideal replacement.

Great shout, T'eo worked with O'Connor before.
However one must remember that the tabloids are reporting that Manu is indeed injured, no broadsheets, Mercury or BBC said anything about it.

The Torygraph reporting it as out for up to six weeks. Is that enough gravitas for you JP14?

I notice the Times and Guardian are also carrying the news this morning. Not the news we wanted this early in the season, and going into a local derby.

Why do we always seem to have our key players injured? As many of the pundits were saying before the season started, we have a great back line as long as they remain fit...

How is Tuilagi the team's 1st Choice 13? They've managed without him for near on 2 years - one game back and the laminated sick chit is out again.

Tigerbeat alluded that Tigers should keep him because we'd rather have him than have him play against Tigers. That's ridiculous. He's costing the club a fortune and is a liability off the field as well. Furthermore, he would only be a threat to Tigers if he actually played any rugby. He doesn't.

If he can come back after this and last the rest of the season, I'd be happy to change my mind on him, but past experience suggests that's not going to happen.
