Re: A league match thread
I guess this confirms the rumours that Tom Croft has an injury?

Or he's on the bench at the weekend?

Re: A league match thread
How has Will Evans gone from England squad involvement to only good enough for the A League?
Wouldn't it be better to invest first team game time in players with potential than the likes of Ryan and Kalamafoni who are just here to fill a gap for a couple of years?

Injury was his biggest thing. Went from being a regular in the 23 to injured then he got this illness end of season.Tiglon wrote: ↑Mon Sep 25, 2017 3:36 pm How has Will Evans gone from England squad involvement to only good enough for the A League?

i mean who is Kalamafoni ahead of? Tuilagi is certainly not ready for prem rugby. Kind of agree with Ryan on current performances.
Mapaplangi has higher upside to Kalamafoni but prob needs to work up to that 80 minute game.

It might be worth considering the new rules this year which make jackalling a whole lot more difficult.Tiglon wrote: ↑Mon Sep 25, 2017 3:36 pm How has Will Evans gone from England squad involvement to only good enough for the A League?

Therefore, most teams have opted for larger back rows than previously as there is less benefit from having a ball winning 7.
Shame imho

Re: A league match thread
Agreed - particularly with us having O'Connor and Evans. May favour Luke Hamilton over Brendan O'Connor - although Luke is only a couple of inches and 4 pounds bigger.L Smith wrote: ↑Mon Sep 25, 2017 7:12 pmIt might be worth considering the new rules this year which make jackalling a whole lot more difficult.Tiglon wrote: ↑Mon Sep 25, 2017 3:36 pm How has Will Evans gone from England squad involvement to only good enough for the A League?

Hardwick currently 15/16 in the 3 games.
Not bad for a 18 year old.
