Tigers fixtures - Smartphone sync

Post by ElvastonTiger »

I'm pretty sure I remember someone posting that the Tigers fixture list, with its regular updates, could be synced to ones Smartphone calendar. If true, could anyone advise how?
I've searched the website, and new App, high and low before displaying my technical inadequacies for all the world to see but to no avail.

Thanks for that.
Will save lots of manual updating.

Much appreciated.

Be warned! Unless things have changed, changes to the timing of a fixture after its initial publicationin the calendar (e.g moving it from 5:30 to 3:15 on a Saturday) are NOT - in my experience - updated on the smartphone calendar. I did e-mail Gary Sherrard about this as I was nearly caught out more than once. I was not deemed worthy of a reply.

I really struggled with ECal uploading into my work calender - may be a firewall or settings type thing. Neither the Outlook.com or Outlook links worked correctly.

So I created my own calendar file in csv format - contains all the Home and Away fixtures, England Autumn Internationals plus all Six Nations fixtures.

If anyone wants a copy them drop me a PM.

Well, the LV Cup games have now been transferred to my Outlook calendar and the Tigers vs Glos game would appear to be being played from Sat 4th November 2017 at 3pm until Sat 28th April 2018 at 5pm - one hell of a game, especially as they will also be playing another game against Bath (at the Rec) starting at 7.45pm on Friday 10th November 2017 until Saturday 5th May 2018 at 9.45pm!

Oh, and there will probably be some other games during these periods, but whether we'll have any players left is unclear :smt017

I'm not sure if this is a good or bad thing but I haven't got either of those 2 matches on my calendar at all. Hey ho.
