Fair enough. It wasn't a criticism, just an observation.

Looks like a decent player.

Should the board be relying on a fit Manu for next season then they are labouring under a delusion, The Type of Groin injury that Manu sustained is very hard to come back from and the number of Sportsmen not mentioning Rugby player who fully recover can be mounted on the fingers of one hand, What the board need to do with the supposedly oodles of cash left over now Pietersen and Betham have departed is to buy at least 4 quality players
even if they have to go to the limits of the salary cap. Three backs and one additional back rower are needed to
plug gaps at wing, centre and halfback, where we are thin on the ground. It is now the end of June, Time and Tide wait for no man , so if the board want to show us the mettle they are made of then they must seize the opportunity
NOW.

The board don't need to prove themselves to you or any of us.

They'll make decisions whether you or we like it or not.

12/13/22 on his back.
Yep, and looking at his bio he arrived at Qld Uni as a flanker and converted to centre whilst he was there to further his 7s career. :smt001

(and I doubt he'd have played flanker in 7s :smt002 )

Manu is over his groin injury, he is about to come back from an ACL injury. The oodles of cash is not as large as many of us imagine and a chunk of it has been used to ensure valuable players that have improved under Tiger's tutorship remain with the club beyond their initial contracts. We as fans are not party to all contractual details or even medical information we just have to trust the ones that are in the know.

From the vid, he backs himself and sees who is around him. If he can transpose this into the XV game will less space then he will be a handful for the opposition?

I know it's only a 3 minute 'highlights' tape but I'm quite excited by Malouf. I'm guessing he's been closely watched by MO'C for a while and is probably known by Toomua, sooo......... :smt023

TBH we seem to be acquiring an interesting cocktail of players who might have the blend to be an AP surprise - assuming they all stay fit!!!! I'm interested in the potential of Malouf and Mapapalangi, and was well reassured in Cardiff that Gareth Owen is a good signing, rated as being held back at Scarlets. On the reverse, do NOT want to see Locky departing, an asset to the club especially if injury occurs to any of the back row.
Also warmed by Ford(s) being back in Leicester and clearly wanting others to know. If GF feels at home amongst pals, it's a plus.

Agreed JG. I can understand some fans concerns, given our disastrous injury record of recent seasons to top players, but the guys coming in I have high hopes will make a difference.
