3 good Internationals signed to an already strong looking squad, high hopes for the coming season, just need to have a bit of luck with injuries and we are in a great position.

Surely Mike Williams over Kitchener. I know he drops the ball a lot but apart from that he adds so much more physicality on both sides of the ball.
I think MOC may also have plans to start Dominic Ryan at 7

Kitchener and BOC are by far our best lineout and breakdown players respectively and for me Williams is our best impact player and with Fitzy at 6 you don't have to have a second row on the bench and can have two backrowers which is far better in this day and age. Looking forward to the day we actually agree on something! 😂

I'd personally make a couple of changes but just about spot on.

I'd have Evans at 7 with BOC on the bench, also Williams at 6 is a must for me.

Whatever happens, a fully fit squad looks mighty impressive. This must be the best back line we've had (as good as I can remember).

Scott11. I agree much rests with the fitness of our main centres but with a straight face I think the cover is an upgrade. Idiscount Memoz as frankly he did not really perform with us, Betham did well in season 2015/16 but last year was not particularly good. Roberts played well last year but I think Owen will prove to be better. I am sorry we lost Owen Williams but looking at the squad and allowing for the development of players like Worth and Catchpole and the signings we have made I think we are in a stronger position. Milouf could be a very exciting proposition as could Jonah Holmes,. My teams in 23's
1. Genge. Rizzo 1. Cilliers Hills.
2.Youngs McGuigan 2. Thacker Bateman
3. Cole Mulipola 3. Beauman Betts
4. Barrow Kitchener 4. Wells
5. Fitzgerald 5. Macsymiu
6. Ryan Williams 6. Hamilton Croft.
7. O'Connor 7. Evans
8.Kalamafoni 8. Mapapalangi Tuilagi (F)
9.Youngs Harrison 9. Kitto White
10.Ford G. Owen 10. Ford J Hardwick
11. May 11. Catchpole
12. Toomua 12. Smith
13Tuilagi Holmes 13.Thacker
14.Thompstone 14. Milouf
15. Veainu 15. Tait Worth

I tend to agree RB but it does clearly show how short we are of quality centres without Manu and Toomua.

My bones are telling me this morning's announcements were made ahead of schedule - it can be no coincidence that it happened just minutes before the Manu story broke.

So, imho of course, it remains possible (outside chance only) that there will be further SH related signings

Nah, Glous announced Slater this morning too, the clubs most likely agreed to announced the May/Slater thing together and Tigers decided to make a popcorn monday thing of it.

Have to agree that this morning did all seem a bit rushed. There is normally some build up on Social Media with the announcements coming later but it was straight in this morning with nothing before it. Could have been so the news was not mixed up with the Manu story, could have been timed so as the Slater/May story was announced at the same time as Gloucester. Still, it all seemed a bit rushed to me.

Completely agree. As with all Tiger's signing related announcements, we will know about the signings at least a fortnight before they are announced. Once we know about the signings, they will be announced.
