I'd be inclined to give some credit to the current coaches.
Might be that the altitude was a factor. This extended his accurate range. At sea level a harder kick is needed for the same distance to be achieved. Short range accuracy hasn't been his problem. I hope it is part of an overall improvement.

The fact England have Genge, M.Vunipola, George and Sickler available in the front row is exciting, they have to be some of the most destructive carriers in the world as far as front rowers are concerned
I agree as far as England are concerned but my thoughts were more on our prospects for next season :smt023
