That link doesn't work and Drew Mitchell is retiring...

Halfpenny is not good value as a fullback imo just is an incredible kicker

With GF coming we could certainly use that but not worth the money for me...

Expect this to all blow over.

Halfpenny is 28 so in theory he should be in his peak years but when I've seen him play recently he looks sluggish and off the pace. Tends to make his tackles and do well under the high ball. Can't see us wanting to spend the mega bucks he'll want and the WRU are bound to offer him a dual contract to return.

I'd be delighted if we had 1/2P. Think he's good enough at full back for the Prem without a doubt and with his clear goal-kicking talents - which we are notably short of for next season - he can obviously do a job for us.

I'd be chuffed to bits if 1/2p came to Tigers, but pigs may well be flying before that happens!!!

If that's true then I expect he will move back to Wales either with Scarlets or Ospreys.

I wouldn't want him. "1/2p" is a pain to type. LH could be confusing as it clashes with "Loose Head" and heaven forbid we have to type a full name... :smt002

Since his family name is very likely to predate decimalisation shouldn't that be 1/2d or 0.5d? Or is that where his apparent reputation for inflationary practices emerges?

I would have him, not likely to be called up for Wales if he came to us.

Anybody who watched the Lions capitulate again this morning and was of sound mind wouldn't be so keen to sign him after that performance.

Surprised you watched, given your views on the Lions :smt001

To be fair, I'm with Roly on this one. He butchered an attack in the opening few minutes and goal kicking aside was pretty ordinary.

He was poor, apart from his goal kicking! One can see why he is no longer wanted down south!
