But yes, it's gratifying to read these comments on how Cockers has been considered in his short stay in Toulon.
Let's hope he has the same effect in Edinburgh next season.

My Friends in the Auverne are ecstatic after Clermont beat Toulon in the top 14 final yesterday as it's the first time since 2010 that they have lifted the Trophy. Particularly pleasing for their English players David Strettle and Nick Abendanon.

So if Cockerill can bring about a revival at Edinburgh, could he be the first coach to lead teams to each of the three league's finals?

Although as an Edinburgh fan I'd frankly be happy with getting into the top 6.
