I have just heard on super rugby that Ruan Ackermann has signed for an English club has it been confirmed he is going to Gloucester?
He seems to be a great young prospect and is as physical as his old man, lets hope he stays away from the substances his dad used.

Re: Ruan Ackermann
You'd guess its Gloucester, would mean they have an awesome backrow to choose from next season with Fearns, Moriarty, Morgan, Rowan and Ackermann

Nothing on the Shedweb site - yet - but I suspect they'd be pretty excited about filling the hole left by Fearns 'reneging' on his move!kpj tiger wrote:You'd guess its Gloucester, would mean they have an awesome backrow to choose from next season with Fearns, Moriarty, Morgan, Rowan and Ackermann
Happy days clearing straw from the pitch before the Baa-Baas games! KBO

It's been said here that he's staying with Lyon.kpj tiger wrote:I thought that was the case but I've not seen anything to 100% confirm thatgrobyman wrote:Carl Fearns I thought had decided to stay in France and back out of Gloucester deal?

Gloucester are still stating they expect him to arrive. Could well be that Ackermann Jnr is being lined up as a replacement with the public stance to ensure maximum compensation from Lyon.Robespierre wrote:It's been said here that he's staying with Lyon.kpj tiger wrote:I thought that was the case but I've not seen anything to 100% confirm thatgrobyman wrote:Carl Fearns I thought had decided to stay in France and back out of Gloucester deal?
