Issac Miller - Former Scotland U20 and current Loughbrough Students Hooker and captain. 22/23
Willie Priestley - Coventry development player and Loughbrough Students Hooker

Also great to see Will Evans back and fit, and Owen Hills who has been out injured for the last 18 or so months and puts on the Tigers shirt since the A league game V Gloucester United in 06/10/2014 all the best to him.

A strong lineup for an A League game, hoping Owen Hills and Will Evans can get some decent game time under their belts. Is Joe Milligan another academy 10?

15 mainly i think, but him and Simmons can both cover 10 and goal kick i believe. Surprised Heyes is involved due to playing yesterday for England U18.

Have to admit it surprised me to see both Heyes and White in the lineup, I'm guessing the 2 Loughborough hookers are just filling in for a game?

Two of them should've been on the bench yesterday.
Leicester Tigers 1995-
Nottingham 1995-2000
Swansea (Whites) 1988-95
A game played on grass in the open air by teams of XV.

White only played 9 minutes yesterday TBF i always expected to start this game, Wonder if Heyes only played a short amount of time (Not sure how long he played) with tigers telling England they wanted to use him for this game? (Which has happened in the past)

I expect the hookers to be filling in for a game since Thacker, McGuigan and Youngs played yesterday. But who knows we are prob looking for a youngish 2 for next season if Thacker is to play more in the back row.

If Tom Youngs' injury is serious they might be needed till the end of the season

Good point but i expect Thacker to cover 2 with McGuigan startin if that is the case.

Williams, O'Connor, Evans, McCaffrey and Hamilton will cover the back row spots.

Geordie said on BT yesterday that Tom's injury wasn't bad, just a dead leg, they were only planning on playing him until half time anyway due to chest infection I think he said.

With Bateman now propping full time, aren't we in need of another hooking option?

Possibly. Bateman and Thacker can still cover there. I'm guessing we don't have a lot of budget so giving a trial to a young hooker that is playing at a good albeit lower level of rugby at a local club is a good idea. If he's impressed then an option of signing him up and loaning him back to Loughborough so he can keep developing with our coaches and playing for them.
