Post by Ian Cant »

Well has anyone else received 'thanks ' from Bath even though I didn't get tickets from them? They are certainly ramping up the game and all supporters being urged to wear blue!

Just because I bought a Ticket for the clash, I'm now receiving news emails from Bath! Crazy?

Bath are showing interest in you?

Hmmm...is anyone else wondering if an exchange with Taulupe Faletau might be a possibility? :smt003

Well, I accidentally got sent four tickets to see the Saints play Sarries at Stadium MK - just because I was on their mailing list! Rather than deprive a true Saints fan of the agony of getting crushed again, I phoned up their ticket office. I was told to rip the tickets up - probably the best advice ever given.

I've been getting emails from them as well. One I received yesterday gave advance warning of industrial action by Southern rail on Saturday. This will affect my journey - I wonder if others are planning to travel by train to Twickenham. The current situation is that they will try to run "as many trains as possible" but I've worked out a journey by tube and bus just in case.

It's life on the internet, big brother is watching us all....

I regularly get emails from Sarries because I bought tickets from their web site (to watch Tigers obviously!), it's the modern world unfortunately!

Why is it crazy? Its normal these days (if not annoying).

Anytime you purchase anything online or by using a card, your details are stored and used to target you as a potential customer.
“It is no use saying, ‘We are doing our best.’ You have got to succeed in doing what is necessary.” Sir Winston Churchill.

I've got a ticket for tomorrow, well at least I think I have. On one attachment to the ticket it states this is not a ticket yet on another part it states this is an official ticket for the clash. Tell you what if I had to go through this rigmarole again I would go straight to the bath website. Not overly impressed by Ticketmaster.
