Ian Cant wrote:Quins at home is like we used to be: very proud team, rarely beaten and though they have two front rowers out, ( we have Logo, Cole, Ayerza) their pack has dominated ours at their place in the last few seasons with a similar pack for tomorrow. This is the game when we will see if Tigers have moved on from The Cockerill era. Lose and it will be a blow to top four hopes. Win and it will give the team a huge lift for the rest of the season. And another thing, when have Tigers played well away from home on a Friday: at least the Stoop has proper grass!
They have three props missing - Collier would be ahead of Jones on the tighthead as well.

On top of which they are missing Horwill, Robshaw, Wallace and Clifford from their first choice pack.

And Care, Brown, Visser and Roberts from the backline.

They are hard to beat at home, but they have still been less than convincing. Their last three home wins (in the Premiership - they lost in the Challenge Cup to Edinburgh) have been by very narrow scores: 29-26, 28-24 and 21-20.

In their 7 home wins this season the away side has picked up LBPs on 5 occasions. We should not be too intimidated by their 100% record.

Getting duffed up in the pack I am afraid. Still can't defend a rolling maul as evidenced by lumps of my hair being strewn over the living room. Nothing of note from our dazzling back line.

McGuigan has been terrible, but we need more power up front. Time for Hamilton and Williams I think.

Ref is appalling.

Alarming how many times the TMO has jumped in to help the ref out when the ref is very close to the action. Then the TMO jumps in again to move a penalty back, after the option has been made to kick and refuses to allow a change to the decision. Surely new position, new decision. You can't make a decision based on one set of facts and then have to stick with that decision when the goal posts have been changed.

Tigers back-row getting beaten all ends up.
O'Connor should have scored.

Quins defence up very fast need to try a couple of chips, grubber kicks to keep them honest.

Also too many really pointless penalties

Should have checked to see if the ball hit the line first for their try - and should have allowed Burns to change his mind about kicking for goal once he (the ref) had changed his mind about the place the penalty occurred. But - we've gone totally off the boil and are getting beaten up in the forwards. Hamilton and Williams need to come on soonest.

Well this is a bit of a reality check. We look a bit lightweight up front, which is surprising. Backs have shown or had nothing. Not sure what to make of it? Almost like back to rest of the season. We need to buck up or it's another long night. I think the ref is poor but we are helping him.
Quinn defence is solid and they are making line breaks at will.
There is never any points for 2nd place...

Joke ref and TMO, can we just have some consistency, Quins try from a forward pass, the offside rule clearly is no more and a TMO who wants to be the ref!! Tigers our being out muscled but your neve going to beat officiating like this!!

16 v 15.
Terrible officiating. As well as poor decisions already mentioned, he's not bothered about forward passes and comedically crooked line-out throws
