The unoffy is saying that Marcos will be out for a further 10-12 weeks with a back injury (according to Radio Leicester). Do not know if this is true, but very tough for Marcos if it is.

Mercury confirming...

Ayerza looks set to be sidelined for an extended period. He has been struggling with a nerve problem in his back and specialist advice suggests he will be out for 10-12 weeks.

On a more positive note:

Ellis Genge and Mike Williams will be available to face Gloucester after being released by England ahead of the Six Nations clash with Wales.

and:

Mauger said that the match is probably a week too early for both Telusa Veainu and JP Pietersen to return to action, but he is optimistic both will be fit for the following week's home game with Bristol.

Damn and blast!

Losing Ayerza is another blow upon a series of blows. Whilst Genge is a more than able deputy, Marcos is unquestionably class, and no harm can come from having quality options to bring off the bench whoever starts.

I think at this point, we accept that Marcos is done for the season, give him a proper pre season and have him raring to go for September. He's probably got another year or two in him yet.

Roberts and Betham in the centre I suspect. OW will hopefully be unavailable if he stays with Wales as cover for Biggar.

Looks a likely line-up to me, although McGuigan and Cilliers have certainly put their hands up in the last 2 weeks. No Evans?

Evans' knock against Saints might be worth resting him for (if he's actually recovered yet?).

In that case Bunchy I suppose Rizzo will start unless Genge is released back to his club?
