Did the Board sack the wrong man?

Post by tigerfeet13 »

I'm beginning to come to the conclusion that the wrong man got the chop.

Cockers goes to France and Toulon look like a new side, the forwards suddenly look like they know what they are doing.

I know it's only 3 games under Mauger but we have looked worse in each game, we certainly haven't made any progress. Look like an utter shambles today!

No.

The board just needs to sack the other.

RC. Needed to go. Seeing as the reports were the players wanted him out and now the won't play for AM, I fear there is a rotten element in the playing side. The tail should never wag the dog.

Yes they did, but too late now, not sure sacking anyone else will help the cause.

I'm not too sure it'll hurt, either.

Wrong man? Think it should read wrong men, there's a core of the Tigers team that don't seem interested in playing and need to go, nevermind coaches.

Never seen such drivel from a Tigers team at Welford Rd.

Yes.

RC, AM, and the team needed support. Careful analysis, not mid-season knee jerking was needed. Mind you, I will add the caveat that I know nothing about what goes on behind closed doors, so perhaps the club had this long planned.

The simple fact that you're not where you want to be should be enough motivation.

Yes. I could have and did tell you this weeks ago.

I also said before Mauger stepped foot in the club that he won't be the answer to what we are looking for. Mauger has done nothing whilst he has been Head Coach. What made the board decide he was the man to guide us through the remainder of the season, I have no idea!
