Well, Aaron Mauger said in his post match interview, in response to a pretty direct question on BBC RL, that nothing had been agreed but Mermoz was a player being watched - or words to that effect.

Now, I fully understand a club official playing cards close to their chest with regards to a contract situation, so if 'sources' ( ) are leaking info the club are doing their best to play down then the club might be a bit miffed when they are clearly going to lengths to remain non-committal..........
