My sources say that he should be in Leicester on Monday and as far as I know he's not required for the French National team so he should be available for the Gloucester match a week on Saturday, He can play both central positions , wing and on some occasions he has played at 15, but he prefers No. 12.

Strawclearer my sources say that the talk of a possible 3 year contract with the falcons starting this summer was exactly that, just talk. Nothing concrete has been decided just the current deal with the Tigers. I've also been given to understand that it wasn't only the Falcons who held talks with Maxime.

I likewise, was told by my pal in the media that it had been assumed that he had signed for Falcons,he indeed has not AS YET! He is though expected to do so.

IF, and it's a huge if, next season we have Toomua, Manu, Veainu and JPP fit (plus the likes of Betham, Thompson etc.), isn't that a huge chunk of salary spending taken up by the backs? While more than happy to have Mermoz as well, would spending on the forwards suffer as a result of having Mermoz?
