Is it now time to thank Cockers?

Post by WiggoTiger »

Gutted yet again at the dismal poor display from my team in Europe and it is not over yet, personally my feeling is has Cockers took us as far as his coaching/DoR skills can? and time to go like Deano had to after a poor European campaign.

He is seemingly coated in Teflon.
Expect the usual post match comments about "cracking on" & "will be sorted out on the training ground" etc etc

Why did you not ask this question after we beat Saints last week or each of the previous 4 weeks after we'd won?

As stated in the original post, it's the fact we have been utterly embarrassed again in Europe for the umpteenth time!!!!!!

Because we struggled to beat a poor Saints team and have been thumped away from home in the European competition for the 2nd time this season. If you are happy with this type of result and performance then good on you. I personally am not

The most embarrassing performance in living memory for me, for me it's time for a change, we can beat the Mickey Mouse teams and sneak a win against a massively poor saints team but against the best we have been clueless for the past 3 years, can't keep blaming plastic pitches and poor refs!!

Have always been supportive of Cockers but I am more than erring on the side of change. Something needs fixing because it's broken

Because Saints are worse than us, did you see them last night....at home??

I care about my club and can accept we will not win every year but our performances this season have been utterly woeful at times and tactically clueless. Deano had won Europe and many domestic titles and was still sacked.
Cockers no European success and not 4 titles on trot.......

Thankfully shambles over......waiting for cockers to spout .

Whilst the argument may be valid what is the solution, sack the majority if not all of our coaching team and replace them with who?

Would take
DOR - Someone with experience (Mallet maybe for big money)
Head coach/Forwards coach - Rowntree

Backs coaches and Defence coach - Whoever they want,

(Would like to see Vesty back)

For me the real problem is the forwards, they seem to lack physicality and bullied too often. The set-piece is a shambles at times and looks like they don't practice. I also don't think the forwards are fit enough, they don't work hard enough off the ball.

I suspect the backs may be a very different proposition given front foot ball.
