What till Tigers issue their response to that and everyone else who has left under the fans "conspiracy" theories.

Had to happen, strange timing, I await the new dawn with a hope the team pull together next week. Thank you cockersclash33 wrote:It's clear to me that a change is needed. I would make it clear to all the coaching staff that contracts would not be renewed at the end of the season and that new DOR and associated staff would be sort. No idea why but the team is less than the sum of it's parts at the moment and this has to come from the top. Cockrer's has had a great run but new blood is needed.

Thank you Richard Cockerill. Thank you for the success you have brought to Tigers. Thank you for showing the same passion as us fans. Thank you for always guiding the team to a top 4 finish. Thank you for your loyalty. You have left big feet to fill. Thank you Richard Cockerill.

His record as DoR is one Premier League title and one Anglo Welsh Cup victory in 6 years. That's a fact and is hardly worth shouting about.ellis9 wrote:Thank you Richard Cockerill. His commitment to the club is beyond doubt and should be thanked, but the simple fact is that under his autocratic tutelage, the club has become mediocre and inconsistent. This is not to be applauded. Just because some of us are glad to see the back of him, it does not mean we are not passionate about the club. Actually, the opposite is more likely true.
Thanks....but no thanks RC.

The Times are rather more generous than you and not selective to suit an agenda (at times he was in charge but his job title was head coach not DoR). Under the heading "What he achieved as head coach"
3 Premiership titles, 1 LV Cup, 2 European Cup runners up.
There were also 4-5 Premiership runners up.
Those are also facts and are worth shouting about. However I agree that since 2012/13, the teams achievements have not been good. Bringing in AM has not brought the desired improvement so change was probably and justifiably inevitable.
If (big if) assorted newspapers and posters on this forum are to be believed, the inconsistency is probably due to RC and AM being unable to gel their different methods and players being unsure what the team "plan" was.
