...talking of which - rumours on the Ultras that OTY is out injured

My only comment is Hamilton better bring his A game against Picamoles!!!

Simple equation for me and happy to stick my neck out early doors: we need to win today as if not I don't see us finishing in the Top 4 come May...

Quite right MrP . Of our remaining away matches only against Wuss do we have a realistic chance of winning . Exeter are improving by the week and will not be troubled in the 6 Nations by call ups .Must win today!

Hamilton was signed with a reputation for a big tackle count. He always seems busy in defence for us, I imagine he's in to do a bit of a man marking job on Picamoles.

Thacker pinches one against the head. So much for him being a weak link at the scrum. He's started well there.

If George North was truly pole-axed from Tombstone's challenge - landing on his side, banging his head on the turf - he really ought to question whether he should be playing in future. If he wasn't knocked out, he should be playing wendyball.

I don't think he's been right since the wales game when he went down like a sack of spuds

He lay on the ground like he'd been knocked cold - but he's allowed back on! He should either be off from the HIA or yellow-carded for faking it in order to secure Tombstone's yellow!

Scrum is a penalty machine with Thacker there.

There was no need for North to milk it. Thompstone was always going to be carded. The decision was whether it was yellow or red. Yellow was 100% the correct decision.

Land on head or neck = red
Land any other way apart from feet= yellow

North landed on his side so yellow was correct.
