Good win. Brain fades still there. Injuries a real worry with a five day turn round. Pundits slagging the game quality but what do you expect when the cream are playing internationals? It's like watching the championship. But without the cohesion and understanding.

First half will rapidly fade in the memory, occasional flashes of good play in the second-half . But there seems to be a general lack of urgency, too many players wandering around hands on hips. Typified by the last play when Hamilton took a quick tap, where were the rest of the forwards, standing around watching. Not sure if it is lack of fitness, brain power or focus but someone needs to get hold of them. Injuries will be a real concern for both sides.

But nowadays we are not missing that many internationals - three I think today. Maybe lack of cohesion as this is the first "senior" team game for a while.

Bristol starting to play better though so I think we'll need Tom step up on Friday, with only a short turnaround.

Meh but Happy enough keeps pressure on top 3 I think Bath still have wasps and Saracens to play.

Hoping Evans starts over O'Connor, O'Connor carries well but he is a liability with penalties and Evans is better over the ball.

Hoping to see with only a 5 day gap.
1) Genge
2) Youngs
3) Bateman
4) Fitzgerald/Slater
5) Kitchener
6) Croft/Fitzgerald/O'Connor (depends on injuries)
7) Evans
8) McCaffrey
9) Harrison
10) Burns
11) Thompstone
12) Williams
13) Roberts
14) Betham
15) Worth

16) Thacker
17) Brugnara
18) Cilliers
19) Fitzgerald/Wells
20) Hamilton/O'Connor
21) Kitto
22) Tait
23) Brady

TV? Logo? Plus our injuries. Plus the players they were missing. It takes two sides to make a quality game.

Aside from the 4 point win, best thing for me about today was a resurgent Ed Slater. Both as a player and leader, he could play a significant role up to Christmas.

So to be clear are you saying Logo, Veainu and JPP will all be back for next week? That really will make a difference.

Mid week on the rugby show they said Quinn's had over half their team missing through internationals and injury

We were mediocrity today

If that was firsts against second then we really aren't good enough

Kitto was poor And wanting to much time - the drop goal for burns was an abysmal decision by kitto

I also thought that the last penalty when 16 points up when we went for the 3 showed our lack of ambition

Burns was good, Shazam brought intensity but that's it for me
