Sell Outs

Post by ourla »

Tigers reporting that in terms of tickets sold Quins and Saints matches are heading for a sell out.

Quins is on a Sunday. Saints 5pm on a Saturday.

Who says we need 3pm Saturday kick offs or that we didn't need the 25,849 capacity.

Well done Tigers fans and no doubt a decent away contingent.

I bought 20 for the Saints game myself!

5pm on a Saturday is great, especially as it allows us to watch the England v Australia game beforehand.

Well done BT Sport for accidently getting Tigers to have a sensible KO time! :smt002

I love it when a plan comes together.

I was planning to get the train up and have a few beers after. Might have to get there a bit earlier!

England v Australia in a crowd in the Final Whistle and a few beers, straight to your seat to see an East Midlands Derby.

If this doesn't excite you then you probably don't really like rugby.

Yes I can never see why fans are sold on a 3.00 pm Saturday kick off I remember when I first attended a Tigers match we kicked off at 2.00 pm because we didn't have floodlights. I think the main thing is to try and achieve as many Saturday kick offs as possible in the season as Friday night and Sunday kick offs are sometimes a nightmare for fans who have to travel a long way to watch home matches. Remember well over 50% of our season ticket holders live outside Leicestershire and about 3% even outside the UK.

Where have you got that information from? Sounds surprising and I've never heard that mentioned before.

Do you find that people are condescending with you, Noddy? That means adopting or showing a superior or supercilious or disdainful attitude, by the way... :smt037

It's really amazing and somewhat disgusting when naked jealousy rears it's head.

No naked jealousy here Noddy.

Just as ever, I am sceptical of your sources.

First official sell out of the season. Though from what I've heard several hundred didn't use their tickets, which is puzzling in itself.

Previous best was 24,088 against Wasps in September.

That aside we've barely made more than 20k. But the Saints will almost certainly be a sell out too. And with Munster and Saracens to follow...
