Bimbling is a word I heard in Leicester before the 1980's, seems it is a common phrase in Scotland going back before the 1980's too, as is to Donder, similar meaning.
"If you want entertainment, go to the theatre," says Edinburgh head coach Richard Cockerill. "Rugby players play the game to win.15/1/21.

Tigerburnie, you must have heard it from a Scotsman, I came to Leicester as a 10 yr old and in the 65 yrs since arriving, I have never heard it here, we have some strange sayings but never heard that one.

BTSport2HD @ 18.30 Rugby Tonight Extra - followed by Quins vs Tigers.

On CBBC at the same time is 'Fireman Sam'; on BBC2" 'Great Continental Railway Journeys' and, on Channel 4, 'David Attenborough explains how Channel Menus work on modern TV's!'

Enjoy!

Also on tonight on BTSport 1 @ 9pm.

This season's usual mucking about, with Rugby Tonight on Wednesdays except for Champions League weeks when we get Rugby Tonight Extra. BT's way of spending less on Rugby. Move RT from Monday's where it didn't clash with anything, to Wednesday's, where it clashes with CL,and replace it with RTE. Plus stop RTE on Thursdays. So instead of 1.5 hours of RT and 0.5 hours of RTE every week, we just get one or the other.

there's a real victim complex amongst Rugby fans on this so I'm unsurprised to see comments like this - but to chastise BT in any capacity for spending less on Rugby show show easy it is to forget the days of Sky's Premiership coverage.
