It was mentioned in a recent interview with AM that the club were looking to finalise a deal with him.

Hopefully it's just dotting is and crossing ts.

I'd happily have Shazam as club captain if OTY keeps struggling for form whilst taking on the role.

Shazam as club captain with Slater taking on match day duties as required would be a fantastic combination.

Well Cagey I have switched off the autocorrect following a serious incident to a friend who sent a txt to his neighbour "I'am so sorry Dave I've been riddled with guilt and I have to confess. I have been tapping your wife, day and night when you're not around. In fact more than you. I'm not getting anything at home, but that's no excuse. I can no longer live with the guilt and hope that you will accept my sincere apology with the promise that it won't happen again."
The neighbour, anguished and betrayed went into the bedroom, grabbed his gun and without a word shot his wife and killed her.
A few moments later a second txt came in "Damn autocorrect. I meant "Wifi" not "Wife"
