Rob Baxter to be sacked
I presume most of you are saying Baxter should be sacked after losing to Bath today and are outside of the top 4?
Re: Rob Baxter to be sacked
Not me matey, it's not Baxter that has issues it's between the senior coaches and the senior players apparently (according to my family STHs and mates on the inside). In Roly-Speak, the senior coaches have lost the dressing room. However, by the same logic, the buck stops with the DOR. Funny that Tony Rowe doesn't see it that way. Mind you they all may be wrong and sacking Baxter, the DOR who brought them up, is the miracle that will improve their season.ellis9 wrote:I presume most of you are saying Baxter should be sacked after losing to Bath today and are outside of the top 4?
Leicester Tigers 1995-
Nottingham 1995-2000
Swansea (Whites) 1988-95
A game played on grass in the open air by teams of XV.

Outside the top 6 in fact, means we also stay in the top 4 but 7 points behind Bath in 3rd.
Bath still have to play Saracens and Wasps this half of season though.
Baxter has earnt enough credit with Exeter to have another couple seasons without hassle IMO.
Re: Rob Baxter to be sacked
Sorry I'm not with you. You state 'presume most of you saying that Baxter should be sacked'. Where do you get that from? This is a Tigers forum, not Chiefs'. It's arrogant of you to presume what most of us MIGHT be saying..
Give blood, play rugby!!

I agree with you Wardy.wardy wrote:Sorry I'm not with you. You state 'presume most of you saying that Baxter should be sacked'. Where do you get that from? This is a Tigers forum, not Chiefs'. It's arrogant of you to presume what most of us MIGHT be saying..
Ellis9, I think you are being unnecessarily provokative. Let's get back to the rugby rather than this silly sniping.

Maidman - you are correct a deliberate wind up, but so what?
I never take anything seriously ellis9 says, because he has never rescinded his assertion that Owen Farrell is "rubbish", obviously he is blind!!

Outside of the wind-ups, as it wasn't replayed so I wasn't sure, but it looked Roko dropped the ball as he went to touch down for Bath's winning try ?
Re: Rob Baxter to be sacked
It seems that most people on here think Cockerill should go. Maybe I should have said a high number of people.
I think you'll find we can talk about other Rugby clubs on here.

As an all round fly half, yes he is.
Re: Rob Baxter to be sacked
Funny how them as wants to talk of other clubs don't when their current target does. There are more than a couple of bullies on here.

That tells me all I need to know about your rugby knowledge/opinions.ellis9 wrote:As an all round fly half, yes he is.
"Rubbish" is an insult. You could say you prefer Ford/Cips etc and make a proper case; but to say Owen Farrell is rubbish is crass, classless, barmy, nuts, wrong....I could go on, as I suspect could any person that actually watches rugby dispassionately.
Nuff said!!!

Re: Rob Baxter to be sacked
If you have read my opinions on Farrell properly you will see that I have given reasons as to why I think he is rubbish.
I actually know a lot and to say you think it's an insult for me to say Farrell is rubbish and then go and insult my intelligence is a bit of a contradiction!
Anyway, back into the topic, do you think Baxter should be sacked?
