Given that so much else seems to be equal between them, I'd take Farrell for his goal-kicking.

Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, must compose myself before this.

I personally do not believe Ford is better than Farrel, I believe the general consensus in rugby at the moment is of the same opinion. Faz was a potential world rugby player of the year.

Ford's territory kicking hasnt even been that good, they had Daley doing it on saturday, and yet again Daly and Faz were both kicking ahead of Ford for posts.

I'd ask someone to label Ford's 'desirable' traits but believe the answer would be pretty enfuriating. His game management is pretty top notch apart from that I dont really see the major appeal.

Ellis:

Saying Ford is 'easily' better than Faz after sarries domestic and international success seems pretty odd dont you think?
George and Bath finished 9th last season, you don't see any 'World Class' 10's finishing in 9th. Not that im blaming him for that.

THEN if you want to state that the reason Farrel looks good is because he has a better pack, why would that make a difference if he came to Tigers? We dont have a sarries pack (Not that they're not good) and statistically Bath will have a better pack than us as they're 3rd and something like 9 points clear of us.

Can we start with a more realistic scenario? You know something we can believe in?

A backline of:

Ben Youngs
George Ford
Henry Slade
Manu Tuilagi
Jonny May
Jack Nowell
Mike Brown

Also, if Farrell is the better fly half, why is he not being picked there instead of 12?

Farrell was the starting 10 in the World Cup was he not?

Becuase I like Ford Farrell can play 12 and can lead the defence something ford can't do.

Why would you ask a fly half to play 12? Fair enough if a player can cover the position but to say Farrell is better as he can also play 12 is pointless.

Our greatest ever fly half Jonny Wilkinson never played at 12.

If Farrell was the better fly half, he would be picked there ahead of Ford.

i didn't say he was better becuase he can play 12.

Eddie Jones will IMO 100% take Ferrell over ford if he had another decent 12 he trusts.

Wilkinson was capped 4 times in his first 7 tests as a centre, 1 as a replacement wing (debut) and 2 at fly half

Dan Carter was capped as a centre for his first 12 starts, but on your basis he isn't any good either

My memory is not the greatest but I think Jonny did play several times for Newcastle at 12!

Makes no sense, tell me who England's starting centres are? Farrel is not an inside centre, do you see him playing there for sarries? He only there out of neccesity.

Manu is back Asap apparently after having a nerve removed from his leg.

Ok so a few times then when starting out in their career or the odd few games.

Farrell isn't starting out in his career any more.

By the way, I'm not saying because he also plays 12 he is rubbish, I am saying if he was the better fly half then you would surely play him there. Why would you weaken the team by playing a lesser player in an important position.

Sir Gordan Ramsay what are you asking?

Who are England's starting centres? On Saturday it was Farrell and Daley and most of the other games that Eddie Jones has been in charge of it has been Farrell and Joseph.
