Post by Southerntiger »

From reading a variety of forums, a lot of people seem to be very sure George will be here next year. Hope its true

Saw this rumour a couple of weeks back as well - seen it twice so it must be true. Who's off? Williams back to Wales?

If true, one presumes Owen will have indicated he wants to go back to Wales. But Ford would have to fight Freddie at 10 unless the latter is to turned into a full back ?

I have text my Bath supporting mates and will see what they say.
On a more amusing note about bath, one of my friends has a box at the Rec. Bath put the cost up quite a lot this season. So he emailed Bruce Craig about this...and to his credit he said what I always tell him when Bath stuff us at the Rec..Our trophy cabinet at the Rec is hardly over flowing is it Mr Craig, but you expect me to pay more to watch a team that went from 2nd to 9th in a season....

I think we require quality players in other postions first and foremost
Freddie, given the chance, is a quality act-as is George
Unless we are turning Freddie into a 15, not sure how it would work
Would he accept 15 ???
Certainly we do not want to lose Freddie..

We all know I meant titles

But you keep ignoring the obvious.... Owen Williams is a barely average Prem 10

Have to start Burns.

Farrell vs Owen Williams is embarrassing

Owen Williams is an above average No.10 and his long kicks are exceptional.

The Bath Forums are alive with the sound of Toulon and being reunited with Daddy. Be interesting as Eddie Jones has already said his career with England would be over if he went...French sun, money and Daddy or England caps..what to do what to do...

I think...

...the media have fuelled speculation :smt024 because that's what they do and it's easy because Daddy Ford's gone to join Mad Mourad, and...

...a journalist has asked Eddie Jones a question and, as is his wont - he's answered it.

Er...that's it.

He won't go to Toulon.

George is level headed and not greedy.

Hope he comes back here to replace Owen (not that I dislike Owen!).

.... Burns would make a great number 2 ?

I can see why people think he could make him a fullback but making him into a Hooker would be a bit of a stretch! We're struggling with Thacker!
