Tom Youngs and JP Pietersen fit. We're going to need them.

Matt Toomua not cited for tip tackle v Glasgow. Citing officer agreed with referee it was a yellow card offence.

Sets a bit of a precedent but good news for us in that he can focus properly on his game.

Separately - Premiership Rugby announce that "Leicester Tigers’ Telusa Veainu’s stunning solo effort against Worcester Warriors is the winner for Round 6’s Try of the Week competition."

So - he'll be in the mood too!

Brave call having a hooker on the bench who's only played TH this season (although on form I'd probably take Bateman over Mulipola)! Also suspect your 23 would actually be Tait rather than Smith, as he'd offer 12/13/15 cover in a squad already containing 4 wingers. :smt001

Bateman is the replacement hooker is he not?

What is this talk of Genge as replacement hooker? Just because he is number 16?

Good god! The number in the back is irrelevant!

Don't you watch the games? It is relevant to position and also to the commentators. Occasionally they are ignored but most of the time they are there for a purpose and followed by the teams. And, which or who's God is that?

Yes I do. The commentators have a list of the players in front of them. I am also sure they are intelligent enough to know that Bateman can play hooker too so if he comes on the pitch they will know.

To be honest when he has 2 props either side of him in the scrum and when he throws the ball into the lineout, it will be a clue of where he is playing. The number, as I say is completely irrelevant.

If he comes on as a prop replacement then that would have confused people too if he was in the 16 shirt wouldn't it?

The number is irrelevant!

It can be painful reading people's comments on the games though with their negativity.

Back to this weekends game- Tigers to win with a bonus point.
