Re: Mike Williams
Nightmare!!
Williams is one of our most important forwards. That's a huge blow to Tigers season and makes the recruitment of a new physical No.8/6 even more important.
Where was this confirmed by the way?

Seems to be coming from FB and Twitter
IMO it is a devastating blow, I think we will miss his physicality and carrying.

Tigers' Mike Williams has broken his arm again. In warm-up v Worcs with Matt Toomua - "MT's first involvement at the club" says Cockers....
facing 8-12 weeks out
I think I speak for many on here...
I'm speechless
Happy days clearing straw from the pitch before the Baa-Baas games! KBO

Oh for crying out loud. Bad news for pretty much everyone, but most of all him.
How long until the club are blamed again...?

Re: Mike Williams
Terrible news for Mike and Tigers, crosses my mind that given the fact that this is the second re-brake and in such a benign manner that Tigers should seek a second medical opinion in order to finally end this horrendous injury cycle. Furthermore, a weapon grade fore arm protector should be procured as he desperately needs it.

I guess that will depend on whether it's a 'new break' or the old one failing because of a medical reason that could / should have been foreseen.Iain wrote:Oh for crying out loud. Bad news for pretty much everyone, but most of all him.

What an absolute tragedy for MW. He will be sorely missed by us. Wishing him a full and speedy recovery
I'm not cynical just experienced
Re: Mike Williams
I really hope not but I do wonder if his playing career is at risk if this is the third time he has broken the same arm??

I suspect as soon as the trolls wake up, it will be all "sack the coaches"Iain wrote:Oh for crying out loud. Bad news for pretty much everyone, but most of all him.

Less is more....
Re: Mike Williams
Being reported it is the same arm/place but the club and player did everything right and he was just "unlucky". 6-8 weeks out. Gutted for all concerned.strawclearer wrote:I guess that will depend on whether it's a 'new break' or the old one failing because of a medical reason that could / should have been foreseen.Iain wrote:Oh for crying out loud. Well both Fonua and Williams both rebroke their respective arms last season that was double unlucky. I am more worried that it may never have fully healed (again).
