Add the already qualified for Europe and an upcoming final to reasons why
With that not secured could you say for sure Glous could have kept Sarries from scoring 40 though?

I know that.
I'm just saying could you really have backed them to stop a clearly determined to send Brits etc off on a good note from running them over even with a full strength squad?

Probably would've kept them down to 35 😉

Haskell to Quins? He's just started following them on twitter and sometimes this is how these things start.

I don't think there's ever a good excuse for shipping 62 points. How many people were making excuses for MOC when our second team conceded 39 against Castres in a similarly meaningless game? Some double standards out there.

Anyone heard the rumour of Scott Spedding of Clermont to Northampton?
In talks with Saints and Sale apparently.
And Castres!

“Non conservé par Clermont pour ne pas répondre aux critères du JIFF, l’arrière du XV de France (32 ans, 23 sélections) devrait rebondir à Castres selon La Dépêche du Midi. Scott Spedding, convoité par les clubs anglais de Sale et Northampton, a, selon le quotidien régional, été reçu la semaine dernière par les dirigeants tarnais...”

Why should we even think of having a Warps cast off who is injury prone, temper-mental, and was banned for 6 weeks for two dangerous tackles in the same game. Warps are having a clearout.
So no thanks - let him return to Sale :smt019

Would have Andy Symons ex Wasps. Eastmond nope.

He's not reached the promised levels from his SH form. Surprised Wasps are cutting his physicality from their tight five though that's their main area of weakness. He has had a few injuries and won't have been cheap, Wasps do seem to be trying to lighten the financial load Moore, Symons, Haskell, Eastmond and Cipriani are all decent earners. Have they signed anyone other than the two Kiwis (Brookes also rumoured in).
