I see Bristol and Wales lock Ian Evans is to retire on medical advice because of knee problems.
Oh dear. What a shame. Never mind.
Ironic.

Maybe they'll use the compensation from Montpellier to pay-off Voldemort?RagingBull wrote:Talk that King Louis might be off to france again next season.

(If he does break his contract, pity it's not to move a few miles North!)

Been trying to keep it under wraps all week but Louis Picamoles is heading back to France to join Montpellier.

Picamoles has been the difference between Saints treading water and being downright garbage this season. That's seriously bad news for them.

I guess when your style of play is structured around a mobile 8 then other game dimensions go out of the window. IMO I have seen nothing change at the Saints since Manoa left, with them changing like for like? IMO Picamoles is the only excitement on the paddock at FG?Iain wrote:Picamoles has been the difference between Saints treading water and being downright garbage this season. I had read that his contract with Toulouse expires at the end of this season, but I've now read that he has another year.strawclearer wrote:RugbyInsideLine reporting rumours that Toby Flood has signed for Falcons. Nothing on their forum...yet.
If however, this rumour turns out to be true, then it'll be a good move for him and for Newcastle as the Falcons appear no longer to be perennial candidates for relegation.

Toby's contract is until June 2018 but I understand that Toulouse would be prepared to release him earlier if he wishes to move club.Robespierre wrote:I had read that his contract with Toulouse expires at the end of this season, but I've now read that he has another year.strawclearer wrote:RugbyInsideLine reporting rumours that Toby Flood has signed for Falcons. Toby Flood has quit fallen French Top 14 giants Toulouse by mutual agreement, the club said on Tuesday.Robespierre wrote:Toby's contract is until June 2018 but I understand that Toulouse would be prepared to release him earlier if he wishes to move club.Robespierre wrote:I had read that his contract with Toulouse expires at the end of this season, but I've now read that he has another year.strawclearer wrote:RugbyInsideLine reporting rumours that Toby Flood has signed for Falcons. The 31-year-old had a year left on his contract but "will not see out his final season with the club" which he joined in 2014.
