Very clever! It does indeed. A case of 'sad but true'? I guess it explains why he doesn't figure this weekend even though OTY might have benefited from another week off.

Not the end of the world if true, a good premiership hooker but nothing more. Wouldn’t get into the best of teams in the premiership and if we’re looking to be one of the best, makes sense for both parties for him to leave sadly.

Whenever I’ve seen Mahoney play he looks like he is going to be a quality player. Kerr also looks like he has something to add to the squad in the future.

With Youngs and Polata-Nau available technically all season, makes sense for Thacker and McGuigan to move on. No rumours on where McGuigan might end up though.

Polata-Nau is still eligible for Wallabies so one imagines may well be unavailable for Tigers during November period, so with a need to make provision for injuries I reckon we need at least 4 hookers in the squad capable of "big match" action.
