Best performance of the season by miles. Every player can hold their heads high as they leave the pitch.

Pretty well battered Bath, without playing superlatively well. But the passion was there, and a bit more accuracy. Thought Betham had an excellent game, Tait looked good, all the forwards fronted up. We needed that, we made a very good Bath side look quite ordinary.

I imagine this one will be a bit more positive than the last...

I thought Bath got their tactics wrong in not contesting the breakdown in the first half, gave Tigers time to build up confidence and continuity.

Ayerza is becoming a penalty magnet at scrum time, refs are beginning to assume it is always his fault.

Still trying to play too much rugby in their own half, Burns did a great job putting Tigers in the right place on the pitch in the opposition 22.] when he came on.

Be interesting to see Roly picking out the negatives from that performance

The cunning plan worked a treat. yahoo(not the one that got hacked either).

It's good when you win by 20 points against the form team and can still say there's room for slight improvement.

A couple of brain far*s (early quick line out throw in that set up a panicked escape) but overall a very very much improved and efficient performance.

Back row were particularly immense for me, Williams, O'Connor and McCaffrey take a bow, who needs a new 8?

Good that the bench maintained, at least, the performance levels.

Hunger, Desire and Commitment saw then push B*th down the plug hole.

Think we've seen why Tait has been at FB, Veainu's kicking looked woeful and he looked unsure under the high ball early on (got better into the game) - not seen it back, going from 'live' memory.

Watson playing heavily strapped looked a gamble gone wrong for B*th, but may have been a necessity with poor depth resources.

And just for the hell of it, it was lovely to see Ford miss a sitter again :smt002

Vastly improved performance showed some real grunt and hunger not to mention some good decision making. Left some points out there and gave away a very lame final try to them. That said it's progress, a good win and we denied Barf any points. :smt023

As near to an 80 minute performance as I've seen for along time. Tait at centre is probably a good idea as thats where he learnt his trade and won his caps. Full back still seems a problem to me- today Veainu is ok nad can add to attack but kicking to touch leaves a bit to be desired.

All in all a happy 'Black Eyed Peas' day :smt023 :smt038
Hambo :- He was with England when he was injured, but he was a Tigers player, our player. He is still our player.”

Would have thought there'd be an appearance by now to congratulate 'our' team on an excellent win and an improved performance against the form team.

Conspicuous by absence? :smt005 :smt005 :smt005

I did enjoy that! Domination was considerable!
We left points on the pitch at least 4 times hen we should've scored. This week was a LOT more Cockers style 'take em on up front and batter them', with exceptional work at the breakdown by the back row and the rest of the side. Our defence was much, much better. We were also dangerous in open play and apart from limited kicking, Veainu returned their kicks with interest. Tait looked more effective at 12, Betham was back to form.
Bath had to infringe throughout the game to keep their D, surprisingly Carley did them a few times. Thought that Ford was given too easy a ride initially, once heat turned up lines started to be fluffed.
Slight hiccup when subs made (not Genge, who was menacing). Fred had a nice cameo.
Best Bath - Roko and Garvey
Best Tigers - back row.
Where's Roly? And Sibarite? :smt004

79 fantastic minutes - it was only roadworks on the A6 which meant we missed the first minute!

Great Tigers performance - we earned the right to go wide and were threatening when we did. Can't fault anyone and really good to see Betham back to form; Kitchener majestic; Owen Williams composed. Lots of friendly banter with Bath fans in the Crumbie; good pulled pork bap and served quickly twice at the bar! I must have dreamed it!
Happy days clearing straw from the pitch before the Baa-Baas games! KBO

A really enjoyable afternoon. Good performances from everyone. Thought our 10,12 and 13 played very well and great to see our pack sticking it to the oppo. The playbook is good, the players have the ability when it comes together its really good.
