3pm kick-off this Saturday AND it's on the box

Post by BeeJ »

I'm surprised nobody has pointed this out yet. We have the 'rugby should always be played at 3pm on a Saturday' crowd plus those who moan when matches are moved for the TV. Surely they must all be happy this weekend. (but I bet there'll still be some whinging :censored:)

Yes any KO time on a Saturday is good for me (or Friday night) so I will be there.

It's the Sunday games I really dislike hence I will not be there for Bath, Racing etc..

Others may disagree, but Sunday games just don't fit into my routine and I'm too long in the tooth to change!

IIRC our first 4 matches are all on BT Sport, starting with Gloucester match.

Well, being at WR allows me to vent my ire about Garner into the open air, and saves me throwing soft toys at the TV.

Yes I expect it to be a sell out as it is a Saturday 3pm kick off which is apparently when EVERY game should be played.

Do you mean if only it will be a sell out or if only every game kicked off at 3 on a Saturday?

Oh drat, my grandson is now a Colt and they play on Saturdays, when he was a Junior I could watch him on Saturday at school, Oakham, and on Sunday at Harborough, guess I will only get to watch him now when Tigers are away or Friday/Sunday matches.

Good so if we have an out of season snow storm I can nip back down into the Try Line club and watch it on the box.

Do you go in the Try Line Club then Noddy? I'm surprised you've never mentioned it before...

There's 3 Leicestershire teams in Nat2 North who play their games on a Saturday afternoon for those who can't get to Tigers games or when they are away from Welford Road. Not usually on the tele though :smt002
"If you want entertainment, go to the theatre," says Edinburgh head coach Richard Cockerill. "Rugby players play the game to win.15/1/21.
