Re: Money where your mouth is time
Just can't separate them with the head this year, as difficult as I can remember and could be a lower points tally with how competitive it is!
Must be Tigers on top if put some heart into it, got a fantastic squad of players that picks itself and if used well around that.
Sarries just had a blinding season, a big England contingent, could drop off a little in picking up league points, but only a little.
Exeter are another year older and wiser and have only a few in the EPS so less disruption this year.
Quins suffered most from the world cup IMO and will be strong this year.
Saints will be well in it IMO, suffered from injuries last season which forced through players like Harrison on a learning curve and Picamoles to be a very good signing for them and it could come together.
Wasps benefitted most from the world cup and 6N disruption last season IMO.
Sale are getting better every year but Cips has moved on, they will take points off teams.
Bath, Gloucester and Newcastle will take points off teams, these sort of fixtures will be crucial to who finishes top four IMO as the others fighting for a play off place will all take points off each other IMO.
Worcester and Bristol to fight it out at the bottom.

Re: Money where your mouth is time
Only problem with predicting 1-12 is that it isn't like the Premier League where 1st = champions. I'd love to be wrong but Saracens looked nailed on champions to me.
Re: Money where your mouth is time
Just got a feeling that it may well be a bit different this year.....and not necessarily in a good way for us or Sarries.MrPartridge wrote:Only problem with predicting 1-12 is that it isn't like the Premier League where 1st = champions. Leicester Tigers 1995-
Nottingham 1995-2000
Swansea (Whites) 1988-95
A game played on grass in the open air by teams of XV.

Agree in the play offs Sarries will be difficult to stop.MrPartridge wrote:Only problem with predicting 1-12 is that it isn't like the Premier League where 1st = champions. I'd love to be wrong but Saracens looked nailed on champions to me.
Saints and Quins have often shown the type of strike play that can threaten Sarries, just got to be able to compete with them physically and have the strength to match their set piece consistently enough so it does not become a negative on a forward pack.
Sarries are relentless in their physical approach.

Re: Money where your mouth is time
Saracens - no reason why they can't continue to dominate for another season
Wasps - if all the big names can gel with the current set up they will be bang there
Leicester
Exeter
Sale - expecting them to have another good season - made some good signings and are a consistent outfit
Northampton - expecting them to struggle again at times
Quins - not sure but they still have plenty of quality on their day
Bristol - expect them to be competitive
Bath - hard to see how they can be expected to be up there given all the upheavel
Worcester - should be OK
Newcastle - will be battling at the basement again
Gloucester - I just have the feeling they will implode - neck firmly out

Pretty much about right I think. My biggest fear is that of Wasps and if their big names can work well together then they will be great.ourla wrote:Saracens - no reason why they can't continue to dominate for another season

Can Exeter maintain the momentum they had from last season?
Saints will continue to be a threat at times but perhaps not fire on all cylinders again. If they don't produce the goods could be curtains for Mallinder?
