I wonder if anyone is brave enough to suggest a scenario were tigers do not appear in the top four this season and even struggle to make the top six guaranteeing a European place? Like the rest of you I hope I'm wrong but the acid test once again will be the November internationals and the amount of points we can pick up in that period. We also must convert home wins with the odd exception into Bonus point wins.

Saints will continue to be a threat at times but perhaps not fire on all cylinders again. If they don't produce the goods could be curtains for Mallinder?[/quote]

So, something to look forward to then :smt003

Naturally, as far as We are concerned, I hope I am horribly wrong. I think Gloucester are due a good season, and that may be the difference between 4th and 5th spot. I was very optimistic last year, especially at the beginning of the season, but have lowered my expectations!
I could agree with you...but then we'd both be wrong.

We will know fairly quickly how things have developed, if by November we aren't in the top three. My worry is that MT and JPP will not arive in a good enough state to contribute more than fragmenting the team. I see Sale as more of a threat than most, simply because Diamond has more resources at his disposal, and he did better than even Dai Young (Wasps two seasons ago) on little cash last season.
I expect top 4 again, and with a fair injury list, top 2, but unless we play a fair bit better than last year, all the great signings will come to nothing. This is truly squeaky bum season for the coaches.

Apparently I am daft enough - don't think it's bravery!

I reckon Exeter might drop out of the top 4 this season, and Bath have too good a squad not to challenge with a decent coach IMO.

Tigers will be top 4 and if(big IF) we keep all remnants of a fit team, then we win the playoffs. Europe might just be a distraction, sure we will get out of the pool stages ok.

I believe that we will do really well. If we have a bit of luck with injurie, and with a good pitch, we will be a force to be reckoned with.
I wouldn't right off Saints, especially if Picamoles settles.

However, our biggest rivals will be our Reco friends. Dai Young is building a cracking squad.

Based on the majority of views we will finish 3rd. This is simply not good enough and Cockers must be sacked now.

Cockers should be sacked because of what we think. Wow man, even Roly wouldn't say that.

Saints will do well .Less International call ups than previously and Picamoles in at No 8 - very strong pack .
