At the moment I cannot think of any young player other than Big Jim Hamilton and George Ford who has left Tigers and commanded a regular place with a top four club.
You mean like the front rower who can't scrummage! :smt005
Wingers with feet that quick don't usually need to kick and aren't very good at it anyway as their feet are so fast they usually end up tripping over themselves before gravity brings the ball down.
His tackling looked alright.

Pretty sure Jason Robinson learnt how to kick a ball when he came over to Union in his 20s...........

Odogwu's tackling has been fine in all the games I have watched him and even if you couldn't teach him how to kick (Very unlikely)...... Yarde, May, Monye and plenty more are examples of how mal-coordinated people can still be very good wingers.

I remember getting freebies to a Quins game and watching both Monye and Yarde miss the ball in the same game while trying to kick and giving away knock ons.

We seem to have collected most of the Cockers-knockers and Doom-Mongers on the thread, just need Roly to weigh in with magisterial finality. Time, of course, will tell.

Don't worry Roly will return like a blooming narcissus.

Yawayawa started for Nottingham V Falcons last weekend for the first half.

Was up against a pretty strong backline, but sounds like he did alright.

Nottingham blown away in the second half after a good solid first half, nearly a point a minute, not surprised on seeing some of the replacements.

seems a majority of the subs where their academy lads (A few ex tigs academy players as well).

But their 23 seems to be up to it, hopefully another good season despite no Haag.

From notts forum

The game was played in 4 quarters with plenty of subs. Our starting team had only 3 newcomers: Holmes in the 2nd row, Evans at 12 & Yawayawa at 14 who was the standout on the day. He made good ground, missed no tackles & did not waste a ball.

promising.

Just what the doctor ordered. Hopefully he'll have a good season at Nottingham and get plenty of starting opportunities.
