Tigers would have always played a 2nd string team against Nottingham, Plus also being originally a 5 oclock kick off, would have meant the attendance would be very low , As far as tigers are concerned the ospreys is the box office game of the day, so would have never have been moved

The new stand is getting 'branded' this morning.
The webcam is showing the Nottingham Building Society signage going up....

Lots more activity too, not just the signage.

I think the next move might be to plant potatoes. Nice sandy soil; they should get a good crop :smt003

With the drainage system I would expect organic crop rotation to follow. The green, red and white would be brassicas, bean flowers and potato flowers then!
A visit to WR would then be only marginally better than one to Franklins Gardens, albeit a real garden.

The only thing growing on the pitch is the number of tractors 5 at present but they are off loading material in the north - west corner & transporting it to the east stand out of shot. Is this the turfing start?

Apparently, they really are planting potatoes at the Rec. Well - it gives them something to pick up at the end of the season! :smt003

As an ex Marketing person (I know 100 ways to make love but I don't know any women!), I can't believe Nottingham Building Society are laying themselves open to taunts of 'NBS on the slide'!

Clearly, as NBS moves to the right it goes downhill....

Maire88; as a railway employee I am reasonably confident that if you have booked tickets in advance most can be refunded if you get them back before the date you were due to travel either to the station booking office or online however you did it.
As to the fatuous comment by the strange poster above, ignore it. He speaks for no-one. In his world everything Tigers do is perfect and may not be criticised. He is to kind relationships what a combine harvester would be to a bag of crisps.

Do we really think that we will have a new pitch in 14 days time. Looks as if the surface is still being worked on. Ospreys at Oval park?
