If the Met-Rx is to be the Holland & Barrett ...
...does this mean the Crumblie Stand will revert to its original name?

Not if any one else offers money, it won't!BeeJ wrote:...does this mean the Crumblie Stand will revert to its original name?

For when the One Great Scorer comes to write against your name,
He marks - not that you won or lost - but how you played the Game."

Isn't Met-Rx something to do with Holland & Barrett anyway?
Re: If the Met-Rx is to be the Holland & Barrett ...
So are we looking for a new Sponsor for the Crumbie? I hope so as that side of the ground does now need redeveloping and if it is I do so hope they retain the standing area particularly around where the players entrance is.

It is owned by NBTY Inc. (US company) but is sold by H & B.longlivethecrumbie wrote:Isn't Met-Rx something to do with Holland & Barrett anyway?

Get Caterpillar on board. That'll just leave them with the one stand left for a full house!Noddy555 wrote:So are we looking for a new Sponsor for the Crumbie? Right. So the Holland and Barrett Stand is no longer called the Holland and Barrett Stand. The stand formerly known as the Caterpillar Stand and then the MetRx Stand is now called the Holland and Barrett Stand. Meanwhile, the new stand built last season is called the Caterpillar Stand.
Nope. I definitely can't envisage this being confusing for anyone.

Oh for a nice simple world where you just have North, South, East and West stands - wonder why that's never been tried anywhere?

My season ticket is in the Members Stand, which sits opposite the Crumbie Stand. On the Welford Road side there is the slag heap, opposite the clubhouse at the Aylestone Road end.DickyP wrote:Oh for a nice simple world where you just have North, South, East and West stands - wonder why that's never been tried anywhere?
No amount of sponsorship and rebranding is going to alter my mindset on this.

Correction!!!
The new stand, named the Caterpillar Stand last season, is no longer called the Caterpillar Stand!
On the ticket purchasing section of this site, the stands are listed as:
The Holland and Barrett Stand (the one that opened in 2009, previously called The Caterpillar Stand, GNC Stand and Met Rx Stand, not the stand that was called the Holland and Barrett Stand)
The South Stand (named the Holland and Barrett Stand last season, not to be confused with the stand that will be named the Holland and Barrett Stand this season. Will most likely have a new name next season)
The West Stand (named the Caterpillar Stand last season, not to be confused with the stand previously named the Caterpillar Stand, which is now the Holland and Barrett Stand, not to be confused with the one that was Holland and Barrett last season. Will most likely have a new name next season)
The East Stand (formerly the A&L Stand, Santander Stand and until last season the Goldsmiths Stand. Will most likely have a new name next season)
Wow.

Good spot. My error. I mean I'd hate for anyone to be confused...Grimlish wrote:Iain

Man alive. When Munster come to town can you imagine the confusion when thousands of rowdy drunk Irishmen turn up to the ground.
"We're in the Holland and Barrett Stand! Ah we were in that one last season so we were. It's this one to be sure. What? THAT one is now the Holland and Barrett? But I remember...? Jaysus I'm confused. So where do I...?"
And confusion reigns.
But hey, I'm sure the pay off from the sponsors is awesome.
