Kieran Reid is a good bit more than just a big ball carrier! I agree with some of the other posters, I'm not sure we need a big ball carrying 8, especially if he doesn't bring any other skill to the party.

Reid is a journeyman player who is too old. Why waste money on him??

Fair point. We may as well persuade Nick Easter out of retirement.Dr H Flashman MBE wrote:Reid is a journeyman player who is too old. Why waste money on him??

Maybe I'm having a sense-of-humour bypass but - you are kidding, right? Reid (Captain of the All Blacks) is 30; Nick Easter will be 38 on Monday!Hot_Charlie wrote:Fair point. Just to clear things up, I wasn't being serious. :Dstrawclearer wrote:Hot_Charlie wrote: Maybe I'm having a sense-of-humour bypass but - you are kidding, right? Reid (Captain of the All Blacks) is 30; Nick Easter will be 38 on Monday!
Then again, if the club ever sign anyone over the age of 20 who's played for more than one club, then the world will end for some posters here!

I was being sarcastic and maybe making a little comment at those who complain about our signings! For the record, getting Reid would be up there with Loti, Stransky and Josh Kronfield..
