What a glorious day! The sun was shining and just under 500 runs were scored at almost 10 an over. It was good to see some of the old boys (Messrs. Corry, Hamilton and Newby) turn out for Kibworth. The fielding ranged from the brilliant (Matt Smith take a bow for your flying catch) to the ahem, less than brilliant (you know who you are, Mr Betham and Mr McCaffrey).
I hope it raised a load of money for Hambo's foundation but what happened to the raffle? The original blurb in the news section on here said there would be one but I didn't see anyone going round the ground selling tickets.

I seem to remember the old Fire Station used to take a bit of an aerial bombardment whenever we played Kibworth!kingneptuneii wrote:it was extremely threatening.... to surrounding residents windows and local wildlife!tigercaspian wrote:Clearly the bowling was threatening then............
