Yes, and if the training kit the guys are wearing has any bearing, it might be 'dayglo' yellow at that!

I think that you might need to explain that to some over a really strong cup of tea!BarmyBamford wrote:The home kit will once more make us Hoopy Froods.
Will there be new towels in the alternative colours too

Re: Kit Watch
Checked with club shop, new home kit not physically in there on sale until 26th August, away kit is 16th September, additional sponsors have delayed a dual release. Also no plans to refresh Superdry stuff either, it's probably the existing range for this season. Might get me another SD rugger shirt if not replacing it this season then.
I assume we'd wear home shirts for Glaws away anyway.

What significance is Saturday? This Saturday or any Saturday?Iain wrote:I should add we're not allowed to share pictures yet. You'll have to wait until Saturday!

Re: Kit Watch
Tigers have in recent years taken to unveiling their new strip at the Singha Sevens, which are on Saturday. Whether people go to or watch the Sevens on TV in order to get a glimpse of the new shirt, is a moot point, but it might be an added point of interest apart from seeing our future stars perform. We have not treated the Sevens tournaments as a priority because the management see them as a distraction from the pre-season preparations of the first XV, so the youngsters get thrown in at the deep end.Coops wrote:What significance is Saturday? Re: Kit Watch
I haven't bought a new kit for 3 years, but if the hoops are coming back then I'm definitely buying a new home kit.
Re: Kit Watch
+1. The chance to look like a proper "Tiger" again, I wonder who got the final say on the kit ???Noddy555 wrote:I haven't bought a new kit for 3 years, but if the hoops are coming back then I'm definitely buying a new home kit.
Was it a bit of Mauger, telling the boys (Ala Don Revie way back when Leeds UTD changed to all white the same as Real Madrid) " look like a proper Tiger, better play like one!"

This has been tweeted by Tigers - a sneaky peak of the home shirt prior to the Sevens...https://twitter.com/LeicesterTigers/sta ... 76/photo/1
Not much to go on, but the stripes look promising!

New home kit on view in tomorrow's 7's. Traditional hoops, white shorts and black socks with red, green and white hoops. Sounds good to me

Re: Kit Watch
Nice shirt but a little too much advertising. It always jars when companies insist on using their own company colours rather than just applying the company name in an appropriate tigers colour (dependant on background colour). Still, there is a 'traditional' shirt available void of all advertising
