The sin bin is SA's best chance of stopping him!

A five minute lapse in concentration gave South Africa two tries touched down under the posts.....great recapture of composure to close out the game......well done!! Now for the final against Ireland

Really looking forward to the trip to the AJ Bell on Saturday. 3 good matches to watch. Ireland will be tough to beat given their form throughout the series. If England can stay focussed for 80 they might just nick it? :smt030 :smt030

I though Evans yellow card was harsh given it was the hooker who actually lifted the SA player!

Evans flipped his legs, but yeah - that looked accidental and the incident was down to the Saffa jumping into the tackle and both England players driving upwards in contact. Yellow card was probably right because it's dangerous, but there seemed to be no intention to tip him (thought the Saffa captain was lucky to get yellow for his tackle on Malins, though).

Would like to suggest that Callard, who led this side to their worst ever 6N performance, losing to Scotland (24-6), Ireland (26-20), Wales (42-16) and France (41-17) be prevented from ever coaching or managing another England side at any level.

Those results mean that even if England win the final it will be their worst ever U20 season in terms of win-loss ratio. They have never lost more than 3 games in a season before.

It has to taken into account that none of the England U20 Premier players were available for the U20 6Ns. The prem clubs would not release them. I believe this affected around 8 players in all, I maybe wrong on the number? Certainly having the likes of Malinder, Evans and Marchant in the side has made a big difference.

From the Irish Times

"The breakdown was a massive issue for Ireland and England’s openside Will Evans had a huge game in this respect."
