From the BBC.

Youngs and Cole start whilst Genge is on the bench.

It can't just be money surely?

Is it a sell out? Anybody going? Anybody planning to watch it?

I am taking the folks out for Sunday lunch!

Out of curiosity (as I'm going to the AP final tomorrow) I looked at ticket availability for the game on Sunday - it is, to all intents and purposes, sold out.

No tickets available? Very odd as the match just before the Summer tour doesn't usually sell out. Have they reduced the capacity?
Nowadays referees decide matches, players by how much.

Nope, there only a few seats left apparently. No doubt as you get off the train at Twickenham, there'll be hoards of touts with fistfuls of them (does anyone actually buy from those people?)

I used to for the Middlesex Sevens, since they were making a loss on those ones.

For the same reason we have the play-offs.

Exactly!

Anyway, here's hoping young Ellis gets some game time.

I'm the ticket sec for my local club and we were told we could have as many tickets as we wanted. I have 26 members all heading to the game and all bar 4 are bringing their kids with them. So it appears to be reasonably popular for a "nothing game".

And that if he does he doesn't remind any of the Welshers of their antecedents - I quite like lamb!

Out of interest, how much were the tickets?

One article was quoting 78,000 tickets sold. To be fair, it's not a bad side even with the AP Final players missing. Add in the fact that the game this time of year isn't a "cap" international, and usually against "weaker" opposition (or the Baa-Baas), and you can see why this is more popular.
