Not surprised really that squad with those resources to finish with those results is unforgivable..be interesting to see who they hire..Lancaster :smt023 ?
Southern hemisphere? Todd Blackadder? Then Claudio Ranieri before Lancaster!

Surely they will just promote Booth.

The Eggchasers Podcast boys suggested they had heard that Stuart Hooper is being groomed for the hot seat. Must say this seems a little early though.

Deserved after his recruitment decisions. 3 Number 8s and no replacement for Paul James.

Almost as bad as Conor O'Shea's recruitment record

It will be interesting to see what Georgie Boy does now. Will he stick it out at the club that sacked daddy, or cling to his coat tails at whatever club he moves to. No doubt Mr Ford senior will officially deny everything until it happens. :smt018
I used to sit near a stalker and we want him back "kick for the corner!!!!"

I was expecting this - will be interesting to see where he end up - RL maybe?
Nowadays referees decide matches, players by how much.

Bath Chronicle pulling no punches:

"Bath Rugby have sacked head coach Mike Ford.

The Chronicle understands the news was broken to him this morning. Over the weekend, he was fully expecting to be in charge for pre-season training this summer, and the 2016/17 season."

Lots of rumours going around...

So Cockers to Barf it is then - it does seem to be the favourite pre-retirement destination for Tigers.

Yes it would certainly seem that Bruce Craig agreed with Cockers comment!!

I don't like to see anyone lose their job (within reason) but to go from 2nd to 9th in one season with that squad is scandalous.

It will be interesting to see who is appointed and I'm sure GF will stay on and personally I hope he regains his form and confidence next season. He will be better off without his Dad at the helm.

Wouldn't have thought replacing Paul James was a key factor.

He's hardly a loss given that whenever the ref makes him scrum straight he is/was a liability.

Runners up to 9th in a season was always odds on for a trip to the departure lounge.
