195 caps and that's leaving Mat Tait's 38 on the bench!

Wasps are in advanced talks with Springbok full-back Willie Le Roux about a switch to the club next season to replace Charles Piutau. (Fissler)

Luke Hamilton signing from Agen confirmed by the club.

http://www.leicestertigers.com/news/246 ... zrWZo7F-So

Could be a very smart signing.

This is very good news..was surprised seeing it on the site when I just clicked on..

Hopefully he can add some much needed carrying power to our back row :smt023

Anyone else get the feeling that this was a mistake (in terms of it being on the website now?)

Considering no mention of it yet on Tigers twitter

I would guess that your right Raging, I'm glad we managed to secure his signature though, gives us an extremely strong backrow to pick from next season, would love to see 6. Williams 7. BOC 8. Hamilton tearing it up

Why could it be a mistake for it to have been announced on the website?

Just the fact it took 30/40 minutes to be mentioned by Tigers on Facebook and Twitter when usually it is announced together.

Not sure if it's been posted yet but safe to say I'm excited. Appears to be a younger more mobile version of Schalk Burger!

Thanks for the link Lammy :smt023

He certainly looks like a very complete player, not enormous by modern standards but really powerful and a good turn of pace :smt023

If we want a strong line breaking ball carrying 8 that's great in the loose and at the break down, and has a good turn of pace, and knows how Tigers play. Why didn't we keep Pearce?????

Happy with that signing.

Squad coming together.

Just to see which academy players are staying and we should be set for next season nearly.

The acquisition of Luke Hamilton is good for the Tigers and for the lad himself, it will give him the recognition he has long deserved by awarding him international caps. I have long been a fan and so has Tigers other Welsh player Owen Williams.

Sign/confirm Genge, plus someone to cover wing/fullback and I think we're in a healthy position.
Lock could be an issue, but maybe Maksymiw is deemed ready. Wouldn't be surprised to see a project signing or two added on the fringes.

Hamilton, Genge, Mulipola, Fonua on the charge....what's not to like? Unless something goes pearshaped, next season could be gi-normous fun.
