I must clarify that I plucked him out of the air as the full back with the biggest (i.e. longest) name. There is absolutely no substance to him joining us.
i know, i was just saying he is actually out of contract.
If we did sign him I'd suggest you buy a lottery ticket!
I'd heard we had offered Agulla a deal, that would be our back business done I think. Weren't we linked with Ben Ransom?

Last i heard the Agulla deal fell through.
Ransom i think was more people thinking out loud rather than a actual rumour.

I have to say that I would not be in favour of an Agulla signing or his return. He left and that should be the end of it.

Signed a two-year deal in December 2014 according to the Sale website so you're right unless there's been an extension.
Happy days clearing straw from the pitch before the Baa-Baas games! KBO

I wonder if Lewington will look to move on to try and stay in the England reckoning, or if he'll do a Pennell.

Lewington is not the answer. Over-rated and not that quick

Yes, Lewington as you suggest, WAS in our academy but we released him. I also agree, he is over rated and not the answer.

We didn't release him? Why is he no longer a Tigers player then?

He suffered under O'Connor's insistence of playing experienced players at all times. He was playing well for Notts and in the LV game vs Bath but was never trusted.
No surprise when contract renewal time came around he opted to go and get game time at Irish. He's done very well since.

So he was released from his contract/contract not renewed then.
Pretty much the same thing. Either way, he wasn't rated too highly otherwise we would have played him more and he would probably have stayed.
