Need to pick the best defensive pack possible in order to stop the Vunipolas and Itoje on the gain line. If they start getting a rumble on, its game over. Fonua is one the luxury selection at 8, tell him to carry for 50 mins till he vomits then get him off.

Mulipola has to start over Ayerza, we need an extra ball carrying threat to take the pressure off Manu and Fonua. Ayerza has been average all year and is a safe option, need to take a risk to win this.

1. Mulipola
2. Ghilradini
3. Cole
4. Fitzgerald (he isn't a 6)
5. Kitchener
6. McCafferey
7. O'Connor
8. Fonua
9. Youngs
10. Burns
11. Goneva
12. Tuilagi
13. Betham
14. Thompstone
15. Veainu

16. Thacker
17. Ayerza
18. Balmain
19. Slater
20. Croft
21. Kitto
22. Bell
23. Tait
18.

Fitzgerald, playing mostly at 6, was our players' player of the year. Lock may be his preferred position but he is no slouch there.

And against a side who have the strongest pack in the country, leaving out one of the best loosehead scrummagers in the world would be madness. Mulipola's strength is in his impact off the bench.

And I certainly wouldn't start Burns at the minute...

I forgot about Burns injury temporarily :(

Is Ayerza still one of the best looshead scrummagers, it gets bandied about like its a fact. I never see Mulipola give away many penalties and he ruins people with carries.

We need to be in the game at 50 mins and we need some heavy duty carriers to ensure that

Darganj - no Barrow in the 23, that is harsh IMO...

Been better than Slater this season.

Saracens have had a busy schedule of late and I think our best shout would to be to pick a mobile team to move them around the pitch as much as possible. Saracens are never easy to run through and all the success I have seen against them lately is when they are stretched.

My team would be:

1. Ayerza
2. Thacker
3. Cole
4. Fitzgerald
5. Kitchener
6. Croft (need Croft to stop Itoje at line out)
7. O'Connor
8. McCafferey
9. Youngs
10. Williams
11. Goneva
12. Tuilagi
13. Betham
14. Veainu
15. Tait

I think you are pretty much on the money with that selection, with Croft the doubt as a starter. Fitzgerald may well start at 6 and either Dom or Ed in the second row, with Croft coming off the bench.

Reality is Sarries to win this at a canter I reckon. Unless we get the rub of the plastic green and get on the good side of the ref, which away from home is difficult to do.

Sarries, as someone said on here are ugly but ruthless, just like we used to be. I wonder if the offside line will be properly reffed? Cockers and Aaron need to be in the officials' ear on that one.

I hope Aaron has some genius backs moves to beat that "line speed". Once might be enough.

Well in my view Jean Paul Doyle and his assistants & TMO is much better option than the Exeter v Warps officials of Referee Greg. Garner ( 100th time on the pitch!) with Foley & Campbell. Presume that Wayne is lined up for the final, rather than TMO Tim Wigglesworthless. :smt045

I don't care personally but most people seem on here seem to think most officials are incompetent.

If a forward battle commences Sarries will win. Our only chance is to get the ball out. Our discipline will also be key.

Well the coaches can't say they haven't had long enough to work on some ingenious moves!
