Nothing wrong with the game plan but the execution. Williams having a mare. Too many handling errors and Sarries have been given 4 chances and they have taken them. We have had opportunities but not taken them.baz1664 wrote:Shambles, need the clock to put us out of our misery, Doyle doesn't have a clue but this is a joke, for me changes are needed because whoever decided on this game plan needs to walk the plank!!!

Got to say that was total rubbish. Safa's haven't needed to do too much not when we are handing it to them on a plate

Two weeks off is never a good idea, seem to remember it has happened before?
Re: Tigers v Sarries - Saturday 21st May at 12-30
Looks a lot like Doyle has joined the Sarries coaching staff. perhaps if he blew his whistle instead of telling time after time after time. maybe now they are far enough in front he'll actually ref the second half instead of coach.
but even so a little composure from 9 and 10 wouldn't go a miss either. Anyway as we've been told nobody has ever come back from 31 points an a semi, so lets give it a go.

In fairness Tigers have been conceding shed-loads of points all season, but usually have scored plenty themselves. The problem has been that against quality sides the points have rather dried up for Tigers, as skills don't hold up under pressure, but the back door remains as open as ever...

Agree Doyle seems happy with hands in rucks, laying all over the pace, high tackles, etc. However, the score line is our doing rather than Doyle's. Was a penalty at the ruck before that last interception try though ...Kjay wrote:Looks a lot like Doyle has joined the Sarries coaching staff. perhaps if he blew his whistle instead of telling time after time after time. maybe now they are far enough in front he'll actually ref the second half instead of coach.

This is so embarrassing, lack of basic ball skills, headless passing, what is going on, players on bench laughing and joking, why??

Let's face it, we are poor. 3 years now without a final and no sign of progress. In terms of the league we are going backwards - fifth next season anyone? And we accept it as transition - what is transition? In sport you are either good enough or not, transition should not mean throwing a whole season. Fortunate draw in the European has somewhat clouded opinions. Don't know where we are going and I think things need to change, however I don't expect it to. Very depressing all round.

I know Williams didn't mean to kick it straight into touch, but do you think he'd forgotten we were playing against 14 and should be keeping ball in hand?

I prefer to think of myself as an eternal optimist rather than a 'happy clapper' and I'll cheer the Tigers until my last breath but - that try by Cashton on 71 minutes was a capitulation. The season did not deserve that ending.

Williams is lucky Burns is injured otherwise had he even started the match, which I don't think he would have, he would not have seen out the first half
