Obviously Iain you are an innocent in RFU politics, when you have been around as long as I have and seen some amazing and diabolical decisions and rulings emanating from that supposed August body, you will kick yourself from not realising that you cannot believe a word they utter.

Now then girls - back to the play-offs!

Which Tigers players are going to be "rested" on Saturday?
Tuilagi, I understand is one.
Ayerza and Cole surely need a bit of R&R.
Is Veianu due for a day off - and Croft?

There'll surely be a lot of fringe players in the squad who'll be fired up to make a good impression and to come back with a win

Croft has been on the bench for the last few matches and thus played little. I'm sure he would leap at the change to to start.

If we win at the Rec with a bp and Exeter and Wasps both lose with no bps don't we finish second? Highly unlikely I know but not 5,000-1 unlikely!

But, If we get 5 and Harlequins win without letting Exeter get a lbp then we do go third.

That's fair, but it is Wasps losing to Oirish with no BP that really is the unlikely one. 1000/1? Put that with your 500/1 and we get 5,000,000/1. Simples :smt003 :smt023

Are we all agreed now the sides are up that it will be Saracens away in the SF?

Please let it be a Saturday... I'd prefer to stick a folk through my hand than go there on a Sunday without the prospect of drink to at least slightly ease the experience...

The semi finals will be played on Saturday is what I have heard. There are logistical problems which prevent a Friday night game at Exeter or Saracens and no team is prepared to play with a six day turn around to the Final. That is what I have heard from TV sources.
